Good Measure Meals Are Better Than Good
BY LAUREN
A big THANK YOU to our friends at Good Measure Meals™ for joining us this morning to tell us about the program, and especially for bringing delicious meals to share! For those of you that missed it, or want more information, read on…
Good Measure Meals™ makes it easy to eat healthy and enjoy gourmet food every day. Calories and nutrients are balanced daily to ensure consistency. No short cuts by balancing by the week or month. All of their menus incorporate the guidelines of the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association and the American Dietetic Association.
That is just the beginning. The Good Measure Meals™ culinary dietitian works closely with the chefs to ensure the meals taste great. They incorporate fresh produce and USDA inspected meats and never add preservatives. Creative recipes developed by the team ensure variety and the right balance of nutrients. They update the menus twice each year in order to feature seasonal favorites in the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter menus.
Good Measure Meals™ offers 4 menus. All are on a 5 week rotation, ensuring lots of variety, and adhere to a healthy balance of 22–25% protein, 27–30% healthy fat and 45–48% consistent health promoting carbohydrates. All of the meal plans are:
- COMPLETE meals — no need to purchase additional side items
- Always FRESH — never frozen or dehydrated
- High Fiber and Low Glycemic
- Low Fat with zero artificial trans fat
- Balanced daily to ensure CONSISTENT calories and carbohydrates
And the best part yet? BC4C participants receive 10% OFF all orders from Good Measure Meals™.

SHOUT-OUT to Team Whatever for going all-out this morning: Denise, Christie, Melissa, Emily and Jorgi.
You ladies sent that workout (No Need to Run) running!
Have a wonderful weekend — enjoy the weather, get a nice jog or walk in, rest up and remember to set your clocks forward.
See you dark and early Monday morning!
Great job this morning everyone! Definitely a tough one.
Thanks to Good Measure Meals and to Summer for bringing the Piedmont Park decals! Love it.
Enjoy the weekend!
“Spring Forward!”
Great to be back this morning. Although, M.E., making us run after “No Need to Run” day was a cruel trick! I mean really, that’s something Abend would do…
Yummy cheezy eggs with turkey bacon from GMM this morning. Great food for a great cause!
Another good week. Thanks to all for showing up and working hard. Have a great weekend
Wish I could have been there sounds like it was fun with some freeeebeees!!
Something wrong with the stomach, see you guys Monday.
Enjoy the awesome weather this weekend.
starting to feel it in my posterior this morning — thanks for the workout ME. Guess we have to say goodbye to the pretty sunrise over the park for a while…back to black on Monday.
Looking forward to my GMM today! Thanks for the decal too.
This is one of my favorite workouts, and a good way to end the week — Thanks ME!

Have a great weekend!
I will not be able to walk down stairs for the entire weekend thanks to today’s workout.
Who is running the Jig and Jog tomorrow in the Highlands?
Good times, this morning. The breakfast I had from Good Measure Meals was delicious, so thanks to them. And, of course, thanks for the workout M.E.! See everyone Monday!
Wes I am glad that ME has finally supplanted me as the meanest trainer.
There’s an ME in MEan.
Nice work today, all you BC4Cers. I just thought the run would be a nice way to stretch out your legs after that nasty little workout.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend and we’ll see ya next week for more pain … I mean fun.
M.E.
Thanks everyone. You guys are amazing. I’ve had a great first 2 weeks, despite major initial scepticism about my ability to get up so early and to manage the workouts. But you make it fun. It is just dawning on me what “spring forward” really means for Monday morning though …not cool.
The meals were delicious ! Thank you Good Measure Meals! And even more delicious after that workout. I think I will not longer count in Spanish though. The series just seem longer that way.
I’m having so much fun at bootcamp. Never thought I would have the self-discipline to get up so early to work out, but there hasn’t been a day where I don’t have a blast and leave feeling superior. Yeap, you heard it . Superior. To whom? Anyone that rolled out of bed just in time for coffee and commute.
